About the Role This full-time role is a superb opportunity for a results driven, quality service orientated Business Development Manager to continue to build their sales career within a young, yet thriving QLD business. Hit the ground running with your industry knowledge, securing further new sales whilst establishing yourself as a team member of choice for our key customer accounts. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager QLD Metro, the successful incumbent will be responsible for actively promoting the Abbe brand and value proposition within the QLD metro region as being the preferred customer choice. This will be achieved by providing superior service and innovative packaging solutions to potential leads to win new business, as well as manage key account relationships, contributing to the overall sales strategy for the State. What You’ll Bring Prior packaging industry experience (2-3 years) Have proven new business skills – identifying, generating & qualifying new sales opportunities The ability to exceed key customer account expectations and foster portfolio growth to maintain long term relationships Thrive on working both independently and in a team, striving for personal and team goals Add value to customer relationships, optimising SOW and margins via problem solving, managing art and design, new quotations and samples to ensure an optimal service experience for your customers Strong communication skills both verbally and written Good knowledge of MS Office products Have a current Australian drivers licence When you join Abbe, you’re joining a team that values you.
