About our Opportunity As we expand our Commercial Sales team in Queensland, we are seeking a motivated Commercial Sales Manager to identify and develop new business within the commercial and architectural development markets. Based from a combination of our Ormeau facility and our newly-renovated Fortitude Valley showroom, you will leverage your commercial industry connections and experience to create and fulfill demand from specification to purchase in an area spanning from Noosa to Tweed to Toowoomba. Responsibilities include: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales, pricing and growth targets Set sales targets and objectives aligned with company objectives and growth strategy Forecast and plan sales by analysing market trends, customer needs and sales data Manage and nurture profitable strategic relationships with key commercial and architectural accounts Generate regular reports on sales performance and pipeline status Collaborate with other departments to align sales efforts and support business objectives. About You In addition to your previous sales or business development experience within the building products industry, your existing relationships with decision makers within architects, designers and commercial developers will be key in ensuring your success in this role. You will also have: Experience within commercial and residential buildings, and an understanding of the differences between them Experience working with specifications, architects and a solid understanding of their processes and requirements Exceptional communication and relationship building skills Demonstrable experience in identifying and converting targeted new business opportunities Self-motivation and drive A strong customer focus The ability to collaborate with other departments to achieve results and objectives An unrestricted driver’s licence.
