We have two locations: our head office is located in the heart of Subiaco; and our south-metro office is located in Rockingham. We seek an experienced Receptionist to join our team at our Subiaco office. Position Overview Working within the administration team, this frontline position plays a pivotal role within the company. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar position, be proficient in Microsoft Office and have excellent communication and organisational skills. As the face of the company, you will essentially have a happy disposition and polished presentation. Immediate start. Position is in-office, Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5pm. Essential Criteria Proficient in Microsoft Office (intermediate level of Word, Excel and Outlook) An eye for detail A positive attitude Ability to work on a number of tasks simultaneously Ability to learn new skills Strong planning and organisational skills High efficiency Sound communication skills (oral and written) Ability to work autonomously Professional phone and interpersonal manner Permanent residency or Australian Citizenship Desirable Criteria Experience in a similar position Experience in working in an Accounting practice Experience using MYOB Job Description Answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional manner Meet and greet clients and offer beverages Attend to recording of incoming mail and distribution to staff Prepare outgoing mail in a timely manner Using Microsoft Outlook book appointments for the staff Administrative support to Accountants and Administrators when required Assist in preparing reviews and statements of advice for financial planning clients Set up new clients and maintenance of client database on XERO and the ATO portal Keep Reception area and meeting rooms clean and tidy Stock control of mailing, kitchen supplies and stationery Manage Corporate Maintenance Document management Liaise with clients Invoicing and taking payments Assisting accountants with pre-filling and lodgment of tax returns Assisting with filling of forms Assist Director in management of holiday accommodation Scanning and photocopying Preparation of letters to clients Collating documents Working as part of a team Flexibility and multitasking Other ad hoc admin duties as required Please note: this is a full-time in-office position.
