Medical Secretary - Specialist Orthopaedic Practice Immediate start available. An opportunity is available for an experienced Medical Secretary to join the private practice of Mr Siamak Seresti in West Perth. This role is suited to someone who is highly organised, proactive, calm under pressure, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a busy specialist practice. The position is for 2 days per week, Wednesday and Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, with flexibility to assist with sick leave and annual leave coverage when required. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a variety of medical administration duties including: Answering phone calls and patient enquiries Running busy specialist clinics Coordinating theatre bookings Managing referrals and incoming correspondence via email, fax and HealthLink Liaising with hospitals, GPs, allied health providers and patients Appointment scheduling and diary management General reception and administrative duties To be successful in this role you will have: Minimum 3 years experience as a Medical Secretary Previous experience within a specialist medical practice, Orthopaedic or Spinal Surgeon preferred Experience using GENTU software highly regarded Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment Professional presentation and positive attitude What we offer Respectful and professional environment Supportive team culture Competitive rate of pay based on experience On-site parking provided Stable long-term part-time opportunity Variety within the role Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required for this position.
