The opportunity: Reporting into the Head of Product & Digital Experience, you will play an integral role in delivering insights across BankVic’s product portfolio performance and pricing outcomes. As the Portfolio & Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for turning complex product and pricing data into clear, commercially focused insights that drive performance across the portfolio. Responsibilities: Deliver product portfolio performance insights – Deliver actionable insights on home lending and deposit portfolios through analysis of revenue, margin, segment performance, and product mix to deliver actionable insights and drive optimisation opportunities. Portfolio analysis & forecasting - Identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities across the portfolio, supporting forecasting and post‑implementation analysis of pricing and portfolio changes. Monitor market & pricing benchmarking – Track market pricing trends and benchmark competitor propositions to evaluate pricing effectiveness and competitive positioning. Regular performance reporting – Perform and maintain routine portfolio and pricing reports, interpreting data and providing supporting commentary and insights. Support decision making - Partner with Finance, Operations and Sales teams to provide data-led insights on revenue and margin impacts, supporting pricing decisions, portfolio optimisation, and roadmap prioritisation, while providing oversight and visibility of upcoming pricing and product reviews, reporting, and planning activities. Who we are looking for: Demonstrated experience in banking, financial services, or commercial analytics, with experience analysing portfolio performance, pricing, revenue, margin, and growth trends. Experience or exposure to pricing analysis, competitor benchmarking, and portfolio performance reporting, with knowledge of pricing or product review processes. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with high proficiency in Excel and the ability to confidently interpret financial and performance data. Experience building and maintaining datasets and interactive dashboards (e.g. Power BI, Tableau), with working knowledge of data querying or manipulation tools (e.g. SQL or equivalent) is highly regarded. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate analysis into clear, actionable insights. High attention to detail combined with strong stakeholder engagement skills across all levels, enabling effective delivery of multiple analysis and reporting outcomes in parallel.
