What are we looking for? The Financial Controller leads financial control, treasury, tax and external reporting, ensuring compliance with the Corporations Act and other regulatory requirements, overseeing tax and treasury obligations, and supporting the CFO in delivering key finance responsibilities, including reporting to the Board, shareholders and lenders. What you’ll do? Establish and maintain financial control frameworks, drive adherence to financial controls across the business, identify and resolve control issues effectively and set and oversee Group accounting policies (AAS-compliant) Own the month-end close process, ensuring accurate, timely management accounts, Board and external financial reporting Maintain compliance with the Corporations Act and other regulatory requirements, including oversight of the tax risk framework and tax compliance (direct and indirect) Oversee the general ledger, chart of accounts and core finance systems, driving ongoing improvements in processes, controls and automation Lead treasury activities, including cash management, liquidity, debt facilities and debt covenant monitoring Support the CFO and private equity shareholders on financing, refinancing and other capital transactions, act as delegate to the CFO when required, and contribute to Finance leadership and cross-functional relationships What will you bring? Relevant undergraduate degree; CA/CPA qualified (essential) Significant experience as a CFO or Group Financial Controller in a complex, ASX-listed environment Strong technical accounting expertise Proven experience in tax compliance and managing tax risk Background in a large Chartered Accounting firm (Director level or above preferred) Experience in senior finance leadership roles (e.g. FP&A, business partnering) Strong leadership, judgement and drive Ability to operate with board-level presence and influence Collaborative approach with strong stakeholder management skills What next?
