QMS NDT & NACE are a South Australian/Western Australian based company that provide a range of survey, inspection and non-destructive testing services to the defence, mining, and manufacturing industries across Australia. QMS has exciting opportunities for suitably experienced ISO9712 Phased Array (PAUT) and Ultrasonic Testing Level 2 Technicians to work on several projects. Opportunities currently open include metro Adelaide based, regional relocation, and FIFO roles. Relocation packages are available for the right candidate. PAUT/UT Technician Role: Phased Array and Ultrasonic weld inspections – ISO9712 and NATA accredited Client point of contact, coordination of onsite inspection activities Production of detailed photographic reports Mentoring/training up of an understudy Essential Requirements: ISO9712 Level 2 Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) or Ultrasonic Welds (UT2) for the applicable role Previous experience with NDT inspections in accordance with AS/ISO standards Previous experience working on large engineering projects or in an industrial environment These client facing roles require you to be reliable with good, professional communication skills and a team player Understanding of WH&S requirements and responsibilities Self-motivation and ability to work independently Must be prepared to undertake a national police check and pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol testing Current driver’s licence Current resume with at least 2 valid work references Desired Requirements: One or more of the following NDT certifications – ISO9712 MT2, PT2, ET2, RT2 are desirable Willingness to work in, and ideally relocate to regional areas SA Radiation Licence Advanced NDT methods - TOFD Construction Industry White Card Website: www.qmsndt.com.au Any application questions can be directed to Luke Scrivens via email at q-m-s.com.au How to Apply: Please upload your CV and a cover letter, outlining your suitability for the position referring to the essential and desirable requirements of the role.
