COSOL is seeking an experienced Maintenance TES Specialist to support BHP's Carrapateena Mine Site in South Australia. This is a 12-month fixed-term secondment operating on a Monday to Friday roster, based from the Adelaide office with travel to Carrapateena Mine Site as required to support site engagement and deployment activities. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the TES Fixed Plant and Processing Plant workstreams, you will play a central role in delivering maintenance strategy development, optimisation, and deployment activities across site. Working collaboratively with TES team members, site stakeholders, OEMs, and fellow SMEs, you will drive consistent, high-quality outcomes that improve equipment performance, reliability, and asset life. What You'll Be Doing Lead and contribute to maintenance strategy development, optimisation, and deployment activities within the TES program Analyse component replacement frequencies and identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and asset life Investigate historical failures, assign failure modes, and facilitate technical reviews with engineering teams, OEMs, and key stakeholders Develop and recommend mitigation actions using FMECA and RCM methodologies, with a focus on predictable equipment performance Support the deployment of optimised maintenance strategies within SAP, APM, and related systems Lead strategy development activities in collaboration with site stakeholders to support TES program delivery across Carrapateena Mine Site Maintain and optimise maintenance master data, standardised work, and APM content Support technical documentation and optimise task sequencing for maintenance execution Apply sound risk assessment processes and support BHP Management of Change (MOC) requirements Track, monitor, and resolve issues during and post deployment Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture that prioritises health, wellbeing, and consistent strategy governance outcomes What We're Looking For Technical Proven reliability or maintenance engineering experience, or a relevant trade qualification covering fixed plant or processing plant operations Strong understanding of planned maintenance scoping, execution, and optimisation using FMECA and RCM methodologies Demonstrated experience investigating failures, assigning failure modes, and supporting engineering improvements High proficiency in SAP / 1SAP, particularly Work Management and master data Experience supporting maintenance strategies, APM, and Standardised Work Sound knowledge of risk assessment processes and BHP Management of Change (MOC) Ability to support technical documentation and optimise task sequencing for maintenance execution Personal Attributes Disciplined and professional approach with strong attention to process, quality, and follow-through Takes ownership of work and maintains a positive attitude in complex or changing environments Solutions-focused mindset with openness to change and a commitment to continuous improvement Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels – from frontline operators to maintenance leadership Willingness and ability to work from the office and travel to site as required for rollout support Why COSOL COSOL is a leading asset management and technology solutions business operating across the mining, utilities, and resources sectors.
