We are currently seeking a motivated, customer-focused, and proactive Trade Counter Sales / Internal Sales professional to join our dynamic team. About the Role This is a hands-on and fast-paced role suited to someone who enjoys customer interaction, sales support, and working within a collaborative team environment. As the first point of contact for customers via trade counter, phone, and email, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while supporting branch operations and driving sales growth. You will assist customers with product enquiries, quotations, order processing, payments, and solution-based recommendations, while ensuring the showroom and demonstration displays remain professional, organised, and visually engaging. Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and trade counter enquiries Process sales orders, quotations, customer enquiries, and EFTPOS payments accurately and efficiently Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships Provide product advice and recommend suitable security solutions Support external sales representatives and branch management Maintain product demonstration displays and ensure they remain operational and presentable Ensure showroom stock levels, merchandising, and branch presentation are maintained to a high standard Assist with general branch administration and day-to-day operational support Stay informed on new product releases and industry developments Enforce company credit policies and procedures Contribute positively to team culture, branch performance, and continuous improvement initiatives Performance Expectations Successful candidates will work towards the following objectives within the first three months: Grow sales across existing customer accounts Acquire 2 to 3 new customer accounts per month Maintain demonstration products in excellent working condition Ensure trade showroom displays are fully stocked and professionally presented About You You are a professional and customer-oriented individual who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding service. You possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to build genuine relationships with customers and colleagues alike. Skills and Experience Previous experience in customer service, trade counter sales, or internal sales Experience within the electronic security or electrical wholesale industry highly regarded Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a team Professional presentation with a friendly and approachable manner A willingness to learn and stay up to date with evolving technologies and products Why Join ATG?
