About the Role As Business Development Manager (BDM) - Perth, you will help establish and grow ADCG’s local presence in Western Australia. You will identify new opportunities, build relationships with prospective clients, support targeted outreach and represent ADCG in the Perth and greater WA market. You will be trusted to develop a local pipeline, engage clients professionally and work closely with internal teams to connect clients with the right ADCG service offering. This role would suit someone who enjoys developing new business, is comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders and motivated by the opportunity to build long-term client relationships. What You Will Be Doing Building ADCG’s presence across Perth and the broader WA market. Identifying and engaging prospective clients across Defence industry, Government-adjacent and commercial sectors. Promoting ADCG’s services across Security Clearances, Governance, ADCG Recruiting, DISP support and Consulting. Creating and managing a pipeline of qualified business opportunities. Attending industry events, networking activities and client meetings. Supporting proposal development, commercial follow-up and client handovers. Maintaining accurate records in the CRM and providing clear pipeline updates. Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure clients receive a professional and responsive experience. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who brings: Experience in business development, sales, account management or client engagement. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills. Confidence engaging with senior clients and opening new conversations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build credibility quickly. The ability to work independently and build momentum in a developing market. A genuine interest in Defence, Government, security or professional services. A current AGSVA security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one is essential. Applicants who do not meet this requirement will not be considered. Australian citizenship is a prerequisite for AGSVA security clearance sponsorship. Highly Regarded It would be helpful if you have: Experience in Defence, Defence industry, Government, consulting, recruitment, security or professional services.
