We are seeking a recently admitted lawyer to join our Class Actions team in a specialist litigation technology role. Our team has run some of the largest and most complex class actions in Australia, spanning financial services, superannuation, securities, product liability and major tort claims. Our litigation technology lawyers are embedded within our legal teams, applying data and technology skills to support large-scale matters and strengthen the way we deliver access to justice. This is an excellent opportunity to develop specialist capability at the intersection of law, data, and technology. The Role Working closely with senior lawyers and under supervision, your work may include: Analysing, processing and cleansing group member data Assisting with the development of models for loss estimation and settlement distribution Supporting eDiscovery preparation and management, including drafting protocols and liaising with platform providers Consulting with internal stakeholders to develop practical technology solutions Working with our Client Engagement Team to support a data-driven, personalised client experience Using Excel, SQL and Python to assist with data analysis and reporting Over time, you will build confidence in working with complex datasets and develop an understanding of how quantitative analysis supports case strategy. About You Recently admitted lawyer (PLT completed) Strong academic record Solid proficiency in MS Excel, with working knowledge of SQL and/or Python Familiarity with basic statistical or data analysis concepts Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working both independently and in a collaborative team environment Curious, analytical and willing to learn Class actions or general litigation experience is a plus, but not essential Class actions increasingly involve large and complex datasets. This role offers early-career exposure to the practical and analytical side of major litigation, within a supportive, high-performing team.
