Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team. This role is based on St Kilda Road and offers the opportunity to work within a supportive environment where knowledge sharing, accuracy, and efficiency are genuinely valued About the Role You will be part of a fast-moving payroll function supporting a large employee population. This hands-on role is ideal for a payroll professional seeking long-term growth within a structured, high-volume payroll environment. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your role will include but not be limited to: - Delivering end-to-end payroll processing for a large workforce - Handling payroll enquiries and resolving issues efficiently and accurately - Managing employee changes such as commencements, terminations, and payroll amendments - Managing employee changes such as commencements, terminations, and payroll amendments - Assisting with payroll compliance and ensuring end-to-end accuracy - Maintaining up-to-date and accurate payroll records - Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders across the organisation - Supporting payroll reporting and broader payroll administration tasks Ideal Candidate - 3–5 years of experience managing end‑to‑end payroll operations - Experience within a high‑volume payroll environment, or motivation to progress into this type of role - Familiarity with large payroll platforms and the ability to interpret and apply multiple EBAs and awards - High level of accuracy and organisational skills, with the capacity to meet competing deadlines - Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset - Previous payroll experience in healthcare, hospitality, or retail environments will be highly regarded What’s on Offer - Permanent, full-time role - Experienced and supportive leadership team - Genuine opportunities for development and internal career progression - Positive, down-to-earth team culture How to Apply To submit your application, please apply via the link below.
