Key Responsibilities In this role, you will play a pivotal part in configuring, enhancing, and supporting client Payroll, WFM and HCM systems, whilst delivering tailored advice that supports process optimisation and compliance. Your responsibilities will include: Configure payroll rules, pay policies, workflows and system parameters Support implementations, upgrades, migrations, testing and validation Provide client‑focused consulting, troubleshooting and solution design Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation and awards Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to automation and optimisation Collaborate with internal consultants and share best practice Candidate Profile You are an experienced payroll systems specialist with strong configuration capability and a consultative mindset. You enjoy solving complex payroll challenges and enhancing the way organisations use payroll and WFM technology. You will bring: 3–5 years’ experience in Payroll HCM configuration and/or project delivery. Experience with WFM platforms such as UKG, Kronos, Dayforce, or equivalent. Deep knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, taxation, awards/EBAs and compliance. Proven experience across system testing, UAT, payroll validation and optimisation initiatives. Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability. Ability to work collaboratively within a consulting environment.
