They are seeking a Payroll Officer to join the team, based on St Kilda Road. About the Role Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role will see you working within a fast-paced, payroll environment supporting a large workforce. This is a hands-on position suited to someone looking to grow professionally within a high-volume & well-established payroll environment. Key responsibilities include: End-to-end payroll processing across a large employee base Managing payroll queries and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner Processing employee lifecycle changes including new starters, terminations, and variations Supporting payroll compliance and ensuring accuracy across all transactions Maintaining payroll records and data integrity Working closely with internal stakeholders across the business Assisting with payroll reporting and general payroll administration About You You will be a reliable and adaptable payroll professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is looking to grow within a larger organisation. Ideally, you will bring: 3–5 years’ experience in end-to-end payroll processing Experience working in a high-volume, payroll environment or looking to step up into one Exposure to large payroll systems & interpreting multiple EBA’s / awards Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach Background in healthcare, hospitality, or retail payroll environments is highly desirable!
