Provide timely and effective advice on program, service design and policy matters to ensure the department achieves desired outcomes in the provision of child protection and/or adoption services Your Responsibilities As a Senior Program Officer you will: Contribute to the development, design and monitoring of initiatives that support the effective delivery of child protection services and monitor the quality and timeliness of deliverables. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide advice and direction in relation to child safety licensing. Undertake research and analysis, and provide accurate and timely advice relating to programs, service design and initiatives for senior management. Undertake assurance activities to inform decision makers on the performance of program and service responses within licensed NGOs to ensure the delivery of quality services. Prepare high quality written material including executive correspondence, briefing material, organisational analysis and information papers relating to child safety licensing. Role Specific/Technical Skills Comprehensive understanding of Queensland out-of-home care services, including relevant policies, practices, licensing, and industry trends, with the ability to quickly adapt to new information.
