Job Description As the VP of Global Digital Marketing, you will drive the strategic vision and execution of digital marketing and automation initiatives across all key business areas. You will work with senior management to establish and implement digital marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement using a data-driven approach. Your focus is on leveraging marketing technology to improve operational efficiency and enhance customer experiences through hyper-targeted, personalised communications. You should have a deep understanding of marketing automation, digital marketing technologies, product-led-growth strategies, and how they fit within both Nearmap and the competitive landscape. You will lead a global team to achieve measurable outcomes and ensure alignment with overall business strategies. Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute the overall digital and automation marketing strategy. Translate corporate strategies into functional plans and drive execution across global teams. Ensure alignment with organisational policies and goals, and lead efforts to establish best practices for marketing automation and digital channels and PLG. Create Analytics Guide the development and use of evaluation criteria for digital marketing projects and initiatives. Global Digital Strategy & Execution: Architect and operate an internal best-in-class digital center-of-excellence / agency Oversee the execution of global digital marketing initiatives that drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and win-back using multi-channel strategies (SEO, SEM, display, social, email). Own the development and maintenance of Nearmap’s digital/web assets and ensure that the global website meets business needs across all regions. Lead the development of nurture programs and always-on campaigns to foster customer engagement and support sales objectives. Lead our product-led-growth (PLG) strategy, approach, and execution Marketing Automation & MarTech Stack: Own and optimise the MarTech stack, including platforms like Marketo, to streamline digital communication and improve engagement. Oversee automation systems, CRM integration, and the development of data-driven marketing programs. Manage and optimise workflows, customer journeys, and lead nurturing processes to ensure conversion rates and pipeline contribution. Budgeting and Performance: Oversee and manage the global digital marketing budget, allocating spend strategically to optimise performance across regions and channels. Ensure that marketing automation initiatives are cost-effective, meet corporate requirements, and deliver measurable ROI. Craft digital strategies and execution approaches to ensure monetisation of digital spend. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, product, growth and reputation teams to ensure digital initiatives align with product launches, market needs, and competitive differentiation. Partner with the reputation team to ensure the effective delivery of consistent and engaging content across channels. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a global team of marketing automation and digital experts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Build out capabilities and talent within the team to support the company’s growth objectives and ensure operational efficiency.
