The role: The Communications Design Manager role is pivotal in driving client growth by building impactful communications ecosystems informed by accurate consumer, cultural, media, and market intelligence. Acting as a conduit between Strategy and Partnerships teams, you ensure the strategic direction is upheld throughout the campaign development process, and actionable insights are delivered in PCRs that are anchored in the strategic direction. This role works on one of Australia's biggest insurers and requires a strong planner who can support the Strategy Director and CSO with the day-to-day work. What will your day look like? Develops and maintains the connections framework and ecosystem, ensuring data-rich fundamentals that drive impactful communications plans and brand growth. Coordinates the timely and accurate delivery of client requests from a communications design perspective, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to agreed deadlines. Conducts cultural and competitive analysis to identify trends that influence the connections ecosystem. Cultivates strong client relationships through demonstrated Communications Design expertise and high-quality delivery. Leads the effective management of the client's communications budget to achieve successful business outcomes. Collaborates with the Partnerships team, media partners, and SBUs to ensure accurate inputs for the connection's framework, manages workflow, and implements changes to the ecosystem plan. Contributes to ideation sessions with Strategy, Partnerships, and SBUs to generate creative and compelling connections ideas, collaborating to deliver best-in-class work. What will you bring? Proven media agency planning and or buying experience. Strong client management skills, ideally with a background in managing and working with multiple stakeholders Well-developed and polished media channel planning skills are essential. Exhibits proven problem-solving ability. A confident and articulate presenter with outstanding written and verbal skills that translate into clear message outtake. The ability to work successfully within a team, handling multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines under pressure, and contributing creatively to the ideation process.
