About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a recent journalism (or similar) graduate to join our team as a Content Writer. In this role, you will: Research, create, and edit digital and marketing content to increase eye health care awareness among our expanding customer base, with support from our experienced network of Optometrists. Brief our leadership team and Optometrists on product and eye health care topics. Work closely with our product, marketing and retail operations teams on new product and service planning through to launch. Partner with our web development and graphics design specialists to deliver on-brand and on-trend digital content to market. About the person We are looking for someone who can deliver compelling, concise and user-friendly content across our markets to elevate our brand's position as a retailer and health care service provider. The ideal candidate will be: A recent university graduate in journalism or a related discipline. Familiar with basic SEO principles. Knowledgeable in medical, optical or fashion content through work experience or personal interest as a consumer. A strong creative writer with excellent written communication skills. Confident in research and fact-checking. Self-motivated, taking ownership and initiative to add value to the brand. Collaborative and proactive when working with stakeholders.
