The Role We are seeking a strategic, people-focused, and outcomes-driven Director, People & Culture (P&C) to lead our P&C function. Reporting directly to the Partner, Corporate Services, this is a key leadership position, responsible for shaping and nurturing our high-performing culture. In this role, you will: Lead and nurture the People & Culture function through effective leadership and team management. Oversee the planning, prioritisation, and execution of P&C activities, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, workforce planning, learning and development, remuneration & benefits, and performance management. Partner with Segment Leaders to align people strategies with business priorities, while mitigating strategic and operational risks. Manage the P&C budget, reporting on outcomes and ensuring resources are deployed effectively. Provide expert advice and support on employee relations, in line with Coras values, legislation, and best practice. Drive and role model an inclusive and values-aligned culture that empowers people and strengthens Coras’ brand. Skills & Experience Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field. Demonstrated leadership experience in a senior P&C role, ideally within professional services or consulting. Strong track record in building and implementing people-focused strategies to drive engagement and performance. Proven experience in helping organisations scale successfully from 50 to 250 people. Deep understanding of contemporary P&C practices and trends across key areas of the role, such as workforce planning, learning & development, remuneration & benefits, and performance management. Advanced proficiency with business systems and tools, including Microsoft Office and HR technologies. Proven ability to manage sensitive information with discretion, accuracy, and professionalism.
