The Opportunity This is a senior advisory role where you’ll have the chance to shape and deliver key WHS, wellbeing, and case management initiatives that directly impact the employee experience. You’ll work under limited direction to provide specialist and, at times, complex advice on sensitive matters, supporting both leadership and staff to achieve positive outcomes. This role offers a balance of strategic and hands-on work. You’ll oversee wellbeing and safety programs, support committees, manage sensitive rehabilitation cases, and advise on WHS and legislative frameworks. It’s a chance to build strong networks across the organisation and with external partners, while also leading process improvements and contributing to broader people strategy initiatives. The Role You will provide expert advice, deliver programs, and lead initiatives that improve workplace health, safety, and wellbeing. Key responsibilities include: Provide accurate, timely advice on WHS, wellbeing, and case management matters Research, interpret, and apply relevant legislation, policies, and agreements Oversee delivery of the organisation’s WHS and wellbeing plan Support the National Health and Safety Committee and other wellbeing forums Identify and lead implementation of business process improvements Manage risk, ensuring appropriate controls and treatments are in place Build and maintain relationships across the organisation and with external bodies Contribute to the design and delivery of HR projects and people strategy initiatives Undertake reporting, data analysis, and provide narrative insights Manage contracts and procurement activities Supervise, coach, and mentor staff and leaders where required The Ideal Person You are an experienced HR / WHS professional who is confident providing specialist advice on complex and sensitive issues. You bring excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels and exercise discretion when working with confidential matters. With strong technical HR knowledge, you are adept at balancing strategic priorities with operational delivery. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are motivated to deliver results, and are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
