The Opportunity This is a senior role where you will take the lead in designing and delivering capability development initiatives that directly support the organisation’s strategic goals. You’ll provide expert advice on learning and development, collaborate with leaders and subject matter experts, and deliver innovative programs that build workforce skills and performance. The Role You will provide expert advice, design solutions, and lead the delivery of learning and development programs that build workforce capability. Key responsibilities include: Develop and implement learning and development solutions aligned to strategic goals Assess and evaluate interventions using appropriate metrics to improve performance Partner with subject matter experts, leaders, and external providers to deliver programs Manage the learning management system, reporting, contracts, and procurement Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and staff Supervise, coach, and mentor staff where required Identify and proactively manage risks, including implementing controls and treatments The Ideal Person You are an experienced L&D professional who thrives on shaping capability outcomes and delivering programs that make a difference. You bring excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust across teams and influence outcomes. You’ll have well-developed technical HR knowledge, strong organisational and time management skills, and the ability to manage complex and sensitive matters with discretion and integrity. Your initiative, customer focus, and collaborative approach will ensure you succeed in this role, while your drive and adaptability will allow you to thrive in a fast-paced and purpose-driven environment.
