About Pilecom: With over 2GW of projects completed across Australia, Pilecom is a leading utility sale solar farm installer, combining advanced equipment, in-house capabilities, and experienced crews to execute large-scale renewable energy projects efficiently and safely. We are seeking a HD Fitter to help us maintain our fleet both out of our Maddington workshop and Australia wide. This is a hands-on, hybrid role with Perth and site-based work. Why Pilecom? Maintain and repair drill rigs and piling equipment used on large-scale solar projects Diagnose and troubleshoot complex hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, and circuits Respond to on-site breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime and fast fault resolution Perform scheduled servicing across a mixed fleet (drill rigs, telehandlers, generators) Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical manuals for fault finding Work closely with site teams to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently Take ownership of field-based repairs in a fast-paced, high-production environment Operate within the Pilecom values. Promote a positive and inclusive team culture Will need to attend breakdowns across the whole fleet on site, thinking quick on the feet to get machines back in operation with minimal down time SKILLS & EXPERIENCE The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining & servicing some or all of the following: Engines and Generators Tele-handlers & Forklifts Drill Rigs Breakdowns on the above machines Hydraulics Competent in utilising computer skills to search manuals / data for servicing and schematics OTHER REQUIREMENTS Qual or Trade Certificate as a Heavy Diesel Vehicle Mechanic Construction Induction Card (White Card) Experience ensuring that all tasks are performed within WHS guidelines and standards. C Class Drivers License Knowledge of workplace health and safety-Risk Assessments, SWMS, JHA.
