Mine Geologists / Senior Mine Geologists - WA Mining Roles Mining Employment Services is currently seeking experienced Mine Geologists and Senior Mine Geologists for a range of production geology opportunities across Western Australia. These roles are suited to geologists with strong hands-on experience in either underground or open pit mining environments , including grade control, ore control, geological interpretation, production support and working closely with mining operations. We are interested in speaking with candidates who have experience across gold, base metals, iron ore or other hard rock mining operations. Current opportunities may include: Mine Geologist Underground Mine Geologist Open Pit Mine Geologist Senior Mine Geologist Production Geologist Grade Control Geologist Key responsibilities may include: Providing daily geological support to underground or open pit mining operations; Grade control, ore spotting, mark-ups and ore/waste boundary management; Geological mapping, sampling, logging and data validation; Working closely with mining engineers, surveyors, production teams and processing personnel; Monitoring ore movement, dilution and recovery; Assisting with short-term planning, reconciliation and geological interpretation; Supporting safe and efficient mining practices; Mentoring junior geology staff where required for senior-level roles. To be considered, you will ideally have: Tertiary qualifications in Geology or a related discipline; Previous mine geology experience in an Australian mining environment; Underground and/or open pit production geology experience; Strong understanding of grade control, ore control and reconciliation processes; Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with operational teams; Current Australian work rights; Manual C Class Driver’s Licence.
