Join our team as a Geomatics Survey Specialist Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced Geomatics Survey Specialists to join our high-performing team Survey & Inspection team on a permanent basis. Primarily you will be working on: Project planning including hardware/software needs. Configuring and troubleshooting survey hardware and software suites. Maintain functional integrity of NAS drives, dongles, HDDs, Azure storage and VMs, and client-specific applications. Manage vessel-based data acquisition and oversee the end-to-end transfer of data to office, cloud, and archive systems. Process complex offshore datasets, including multibeam, side-scan sonar, sub-bottom profiler, bathymetry, and navigation. Maintain rigorous data integrity and ensure all databases reflect real-time project status. Lead the preparation of final reports and perform technical reviews of peer reports. Continuous improvement of our current systems & exploring emerging technologies In this role, you will be the bridge between complex field data and high-quality project deliverables. This role will involve managing end-to-end geomatics workflows in accordance to industry compliance and collaborating with project teams to maintain our reputation for excellence and HSEQ integrity. Requirements Degree or Diploma in Hydrographic Surveying / Geophysics, Geoscience Or a closely related discipline. Minimum 5 years in offshore data processing experience with experience on complex offshore survey projects. IMCA Competence for a Geomatic Surveyor. Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting survey hardware and software suites. Proficient in GIS & Data Management - Strong Knowledge of GIS, charting tools, cloud-based workflows, and QA/QC methodologies. Skilled in processing multibeam, side-scan sonar, sub-bottom profiler, and navigation. Highly confident, self-motivated, self-disciplined person with sound management and organisational skills. Must be able to perform and achieve at a high level with minimal supervision. A strong understanding and commitment to HSEQ.
