As our operational support work continues to grow, we are seeking Expressions of Interest from Mining Engineers and Senior Mining Engineers with strong drill and blast experience to support mining operations across Western Australia. These opportunities are suited to engineers who enjoy working closely with production teams, solving operational challenges and delivering safe, efficient and practical mining outcomes in fast-paced site environments. About the Roles Applicants must currently be based in Australia and hold full Australian working rights , with availability to c ommence work immediately or at short notice preferred . Working closely with operational and technical services teams, responsibilities may include: · Short-term mine planning and scheduling · Drill and blast design and coordination · Drill pattern optimisation and charging plans · Daily and weekly production planning · QA/QC and field leadership activities · Blast performance monitoring and reconciliation · Contractor coordination and operational support · Production reporting and continuous improvement initiatives · Supporting safe and efficient mining operations Roles will be site-based on varying rosters to meet project requirements. Senior Mining Engineer As a Senior Mining Engineer, you will provide operational leadership and technical support across production and drill and blast activities while working closely with site leadership teams. You will bring: · Strong operational open pit mining experience · Demonstrated drill and blast experience within production environments · Strong short-term planning and scheduling capability · Practical understanding of production mining activities · Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills · Experience using Deswik, SHOTPlus, Vulcan or similar software · Mining Engineering degree or equivalent qualification · Quarry Manager Certificate highly regarded Mining Engineer As a Mining Engineer, you will support operational and technical services teams across daily mining and drill and blast activities. You will bring: · Experience within open pit mining operations or technical services · Exposure to drill and blast and production activities · Strong organisational and problem-solving skills · A practical and proactive approach to operational support · Ability to work effectively within site teams · Mining Engineering degree or equivalent qualification · Quarry Manager Certificate highly regarded We value engineers who are practical, adaptable, safety-focused and team-oriented.
