With a growing pipeline of decarbonisation projects, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineer - Energy & Power to join our dynamic team. Working closely with senior engineers and project managers, you will support energy modelling, power systems analysis, and high-level electrical design across a range of mining, remote power, renewable, and hybrid energy projects. Key responsibilities include: Working from our boutique office based in the heart of the Perth CBD, this role will be offered on a permanent full-time basis. Support the delivery of power systems and energy projects from concept through to execution Build and run energy flow models, including load assessments, generation modelling, and hybrid power/storage sizing using tools such as HOMER & Excel Assist with electrical design documentation, including development of single line diagrams Undertake research and analysis activities to support project decision-making and problem-solving Prepare project inputs including schedules, cost estimates, scopes of work, and supplier quotations Contribute to risk assessments, design reviews, and identification of mitigation strategies Support procurement activities, including evaluation of suppliers and subcontractors against technical, safety, and quality requirements Maintain accurate project documentation, registers and drawings Assist with client reporting, project communication, and broader business development initiatives Participate in occasional site visits, supporting client operations and project delivery activities Stay current with relevant industry standards, technologies, and emerging energy solutions Requirements: Degree qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline Approximately 2–4 years’ experience within power systems, energy, renewables, or related engineering environments Ability to interpret electrical schematics and develop basic single line diagrams (SLDs) Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills and confident technical report writing abilities Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously Exposure to mining, resources, remote/off-grid power projects, and emerging digital/AI tools to support technical analysis and project delivery - highly desirable Willingness to undertake occasional site travel, including to remote locations The successful candidate will benefit from excellent working conditions, hands-on project exposure, and ongoing formal and informal development opportunities within a collaborative, close-knit team.
