Primary duties • Install, maintain, service and change out crushing equipment — including jaw, cone, gyratory and impact crushers — on Western Australian mining and quarrying sites under planned, unplanned and shutdown work scopes. • Execute crusher shutdown scopes including pitman change-outs, bowl liner and mantle changes, concave relines, eccentric shaft and countershaft inspection, spider bearing inspection, and hydraulic and lubrication system service, working within critical-path windows. • Perform precision laser alignment of crusher drive trains (motor, gearbox, pinion) to ±0.02 mm tolerance, with documented baseline measurements, vibration baseline capture and load-test verification on first start. • Capture pre- and post-change condition baselines and produce written condition reports and alignment reports to support wear-trending and the client’s next maintenance cycle. • Author and execute equipment-specific Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and apply isolation and lockout / tagout, working at heights, confined space, hot work, lifting and rigging, and hazardous energy permits in accordance with the WA Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022. • Liaise with site maintenance planners, shutdown coordinators and OEM technical representatives to deliver on-time, on-spec scope completion to AS/NZS ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management system requirements.
