We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join the team of a Tier 1 Mining Operator to provide technical and project delivery support across a portfolio of projects. You will also support site mobilisation, execution activities and be the interface between engineering, construction and operational teams. About the role: Provide technical advice and prepare, review and manage scopes of work Support the delivery of electrical engineering projects from concept through to commissioning Coordinate project activities across engineering, procurement, construction and site execution teams Assist in managing project risks, variations, TQs, RFIs and action registers Monitor project cost, schedule and quality performance and contribute to reporting requirements Prepare and administer tender and contract documentation Support contractor management and construction phase activities Assist with capital cost estimates and project commercial reporting Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and company requirements at all times Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, consultants and contractors About you: To be considered for this position you will ideally have: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Experience in heavy industry or mining construction projects Experience in project scoping, planning, scheduling and monitoring Experience preparing tender documentation and managing tender processes Desirable: Project Management Training Minimum 5 years relevant experience This role is initially Perth-based before progressing to FIFO in August working on a 4:3 roster. The role is offered on a 12 month contract initially with potential to extend as the projects progress. Mid-June start.
