Fulltime hours, temp contract 2-3 months Competitive remuneration Cottesloe location The Opportunity: An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join the team. Work Hours: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday. The position is 2-3 months contract, with potential to transition into a long-term role. Key Responsibilities: Demonstrate knowledge and experience in project/contract management of civil infrastructure/construction projects Mathematical and technical engineering skills with the ability to organise/resolve complex engineering and design issues Infrastructure inspections and the provision of minor layout or construction plans, as well as field inspections relating to traffic matters, road works, drainage works, and footpath issues Undertake engineering investigations, including liaison with internal and external stakeholders on a range of engineering matters Strong skills in decision making, negotiation, facilitation and problem solving Advanced computer literacy in a range of applications e.g. Microsoft Office, asset management, project management and record keeping systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage a range of stakeholders Preparation of contract documentation, technical specifications and assessment of submissions The Criteria: Tertiary Qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering Project Management Current ‘C’ driver’s licence Flexi Staff Group Pty Ltd is a leading Western Australian owned and managed company specialising in all aspects of recruitment and labour hire solutions.
