About the Role The Office of the Director General (ODG) supports the Director General to deliver the WA Government’s priorities and the Department’s strategic objectives, working closely with the Corporate Executive and senior leaders. As Executive Officer, you provide high-level executive and administrative support, coordinating the Director General’s diary, managing correspondence and coordinating meetings, events and travel. You handle complex, sensitive and confidential information in a fast-paced environment. To be successful, you will be strategic and analytical, able to set priorities and implement practical solutions. You will bring experience in a similar role requiring sound judgement, discretion and the ability to navigate competing priorities and stakeholders. You will have strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills—adapting your style to suit different audiences and engaging confidently and respectfully in a culturally secure manner.
