EESUS Centre Patient Liaison Officer (Casual) The ESUS Centre is an innovative service dedicated to supporting individuals and their families in eating disorder treatment. Our model brings together multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive outpatient and day hospital services in a supportive, patient-centred environment. Role Overview We are currently seeking a Patient Liaison Officer to join our team on a casual basis. This role focuses on providing administrative and reception support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients. You will work closely with both clinical and administrative teams to support day-to-day operations within the Centre. We are currently offering approximately 15 to 20 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours for the right candidate. There is also the opportunity for this role to transition to a permanent position over time if this aligns with both the service needs and your preference. Key Responsibilities Provide front desk and general administrative support Manage patient bookings and assist with diary coordination Support clinic flow and patient enquiries, both in person and over the phone Assist with billing processes including EFTPOS, Medicare and private health claims Maintain accurate patient records and data entry Work collaboratively with clinical and administration teams to support patient care Deliver a high standard of customer service to patients, referrers and team members Requirements We are looking for someone who: Has previous administration or reception experience, ideally in a medical or allied health setting Is comfortable using computer systems and MS Office Has strong communication skills and a friendly, professional manner Has good attention to detail and can manage competing tasks Is reliable, adaptable and enjoys working as part of a team Is available to work a range of shifts across our operating hours of 8am to 8pm, including early mornings and evenings, and occasional Saturdays as required Experience with medical software such as Halaxy or Gentu is helpful but not essential Immediate start favourable Application Process Please submit your resume along with a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience and interest in the role to: esuscentre.au For further information, please contact the Practice Manager at ESUS Centre on 6255 9920.
