About the Role This is a P erth-based, full-time, Monday through Friday for a contract duration of 12 months for a leading EPCM company that specializes in project delivery and advisory services across the energy, chemicals, and resources sectors. As a Level 2 Electrical Engineer , you will support a portfolio of sustaining capital and brownfield projects across the energy and industrial sectors. Work may include upgrades, expansions, operational support, and secondments under ongoing service arrangements. Responsibilities: Deliver electrical engineering services aligned with scope, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements Develop practical, fit-for-purpose designs with consideration for lifecycle factors Identify and manage risks, ensuring actions are tracked and closed Solve technical issues and contribute innovative solutions Prepare and review calculations, drawings, and technical documents Participate in design reviews and safety workshops (e.g., HAZID, HAZOP) Collaborate across disciplines to ensure integrated outcomes Support project documentation such as estimates, schedules, and reports Apply relevant standards and codes Perform design checks and contribute to review processes Manage interfaces between work packages Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders Experience & Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Power Engineering 6 years’ experience in energy, industrial, or similar sectors Experience across multiple project phases (design through commissioning) Ability to manage priorities across multiple projects Strong knowledge of relevant electrical standards Hazardous area experience or certification (preferred) Technical Experience Equipment sizing, cable routing, layouts, lighting, earthing, arc flash, HV systems, and MCC design Control systems and instrumentation interfacing Electrical calculations and protection systems Preparation of deliverables such as SLDs, schematics, and layouts Site work including inspections, construction support, and commissioning FATs, SATs, and equipment inspections Development of technical documents (ITPs, MTOs, specifications, etc.) Contribution to estimates, schedules, and shutdown planning About Airswift Airswift is an international workforce solutions provider.
