Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Rostering Assistant to join our dynamic team. About the Role As a Rostering Assistant, you will play a critical role in coordinating and managing complex staff rosters across SIL homes and community supports. You will ensure the right staff are matched to participant needs while maintaining compliance with SCHADS Award requirements. This role includes On-Call Duties on a rotating roster with the administrative team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role suited to someone confident in scheduling, thrives on organisation and problem-solving, and ensures rosters are developed and managed efficiently. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate staff rosters across Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and community supports Allocate shifts based on participant needs, staff availability, and skill matching Respond to last-minute changes, cancellations, and staff shortages efficiently Ensure full compliance with SCHADS Award conditions, including hours, penalties, breaks, and overtime Liaise with support workers and internal teams regarding roster updates and changes Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready roster records Support onboarding of new staff into active rosters Completed On-call and assist with after-hours rostering support, when required About You You are a highly organised and solutions-focused professional with strong experience in rostering within the NDIS or healthcare sector. You are confident working in a high-pressure environment and can make decisions quickly while maintaining accuracy and compliance. Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years' rostering experience (NDIS, SIL, or healthcare preferred) Strong working knowledge of SCHADS Award conditions Experience using rostering systems Competency with any rostering system platform to manage scheduling efficiently Demonstrated experience in the NDIS or disability services sector Essential requirement for NDIS or disability services experience to support participants effectively Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders High attention to detail and accuracy Requirements Australian Citizenship or full working rights in Australia NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) National Police Check (or willingness to obtain) Why Join Us?
