Power BI Developer :: Contract :: Adelaide Your new company Hays is partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Power BI Developer / Data Modeller to play a key role in delivering enterprise-grade analytics solutions within a modern data platform.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, scalable BI environment and has deep expertise in semantic modelling, dimensional design, and Power BI Fabric ecosystem. Your new role As a Power BI Developer / Modeller, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining high-quality semantic models that support enterprise reporting and analytics.Key Responsibilities Design and develop Direct Lake semantic models on top of Gold Delta tables Define and implement star schemas, relationships, measures, and calculation groups Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS) aligned with enterprise security groups Optimise and ensure high-performance Direct Lake queries Publish, version, and maintain shared datasets within a domain-driven architecture Enforce "thin report" principles, ensuring minimal business logic embedded within Power BI reports Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure clean separation between data, model, and presentation layers.
