The Position An excellent opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Warehouse Store Person to join our team in the new year. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in warehouse operations and must hold a valid forklift license. You will be working within a collaborative team environment from Monday to Friday. This is a role that provides an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, motivated and hard working individual, who is energetic and reliable; a person who is aware of risk management and abides by all WH&S Policies and Procedures. The duties of this role will include but are not limited to: - Picking and packing sales orders Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move goods safely within the warehouse Dispatching stock with the required loading of trucks and containers Remove inventory from trucks or shipping containers, count, and put away in the proper location. Stocking shelves Internal transfers to other branches Cycle counts Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets. Other duties as required Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security Booking freight Desirable Criteria: - Customer service skills Good written and oral skills Has a good knowledge of measurements and can add/subtract Basic computer knowledge Ability to work with minimal supervision Has a strong work ethic Be able to work reasonable overtime if required including Saturdays The ideal candidate will have : - A current forklift license with a photo ID (must have) Safety awareness and team attitude Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment A passion to learn and develop To be successful, you will need to have an up-to-date forklift license Wage will depend on experience
