About the Role As the Service & Hire Manager , you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence across the company’s hire services. You will oversee the service and hire team, manage equipment and logistics workflows, and ensure compliance with site access requirements. Your leadership will directly influence client satisfaction, supplier relationships, and internal team performance. You will report directly to the Director and act as the primary operational contact for internal teams, clients, and suppliers, ensuring smooth and timely service delivery. Key Responsibilities Hire & Equipment Coordination Manage hire enquiries from internal sales teams and external clients. Coordinate delivery, installation, and collection of hire equipment. Oversee logistics scheduling, including company vehicles and international freight handling. Maintenance & Workshop Oversight Plan and monitor maintenance schedules for vehicles and equipment. Supervise in-house and on-site mechanical repairs. Manage goods receivable, dispatch, and spare parts inventory. Compliance & Site Access Organise mine site access, medicals, inductions, and police clearances for staff. Ensure contractor compliance and manage external service agreements. Customer & Supplier Relations Build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships. Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries and service requests. Team Leadership Coordinate, supervise, and mentor the service and hire team. Act as the operational point of contact, including on-call responsibilities.
