Reach Stacker Operator – Coordinator Roster: 5 days on / 2 days off - OT Possible Location: Karratha (Local Only) Employment Type: Casual Start Date: Immediate NOTE: THIS IS A RESIDENTIAL POSITION. FIFO APPLICANTS NEED NOT APPLY. Duties & responsibilities Operate a Reach Stacker (up to 45-tonne capacity), including rotator attachment, in a safe and efficient manner. Load, unload and relocate containers in line with site procedures and Safe Work Instructions. Support the efficient movement of freight throughout the yard to maintain operational flow. Accurately complete all operational paperwork and system entries within required timeframes. Take responsibility for the care, condition and safe use of plant and equipment. Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors, contributing to practical problem-solving and continuous improvement. Adhere to quarantine and biosecurity requirements relating to cargo and material handling. Safely load and unload a variety of truck configurations, ensuring correct receipting and safe manual handling practices. Comply with Chain of Responsibility obligations at all times. Undertake additional duties within your competency and training as reasonably required. Skills & experience Minimum 3 years’ experience operating in a similar port, yard or bulk freight environment. Sound computer skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office programs and workplace systems. Valid Australian C Class Driver’s Licence. Current LF High Risk Work Licence (Forklift). Verified Reach Stacker competency/ticket. Rigger’s Licence or Dogging (required). Ability to apply for MSIC Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
