We currently have a position for an experienced Event Coordinator to lead and coordinate a variety of exciting events across Cape Lambert, Dampier. (Events are held onsite at Cape Lambert and Dampier). Working for a Tier 1 Miner you will play a vital role in planning and executing high-profile site events. Your expertise in liaising with local vendors and managing large groups of up to 450 attendees will ensure each event runs seamlessly. Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to coordinating logistics, managing vendor relationships, overseeing event schedules, and engaging stakeholders at all levels. Flexibility and exceptional organizational skills are essential to handle diverse event requirements and ensure memorable experiences for all participants. Required Skills: Experience in event coordination or project management or similar Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Ability to liaise effectively with vendors and internal teams including managers and superintendents Can work and effectively prioritise in a fast moving environment Comfortable managing large groups and handling dynamic situations Ability to adapt plans swiftly to meet changing needs Valid Class 3 Manual Driver’s License Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in coordinating large-scale events or community activities preferred but not essential A "can do" attitude Other Requirements: Willingness to work across multiple sites including Cape Lambert and Dampier (3 days at Cape Lambert, 2 days at Dampier) Ability to mobilize quickly and work within defined timeframes This position is offered on a 12-month contract initially on $50 per hour based on experience. 10 hour days.
