About the role This is a broad Financial Accountant position with a strong treasury focus, sitting within a hands-on finance team. The role suits someone who enjoys owning the numbers, working across both accounting and cash management, and being involved in the day-to-day running of the business rather than just reporting after the fact. About the company The business operates across multiple sites in an operational environment where finance plays a key support role. The culture is practical and collaborative, with an emphasis on accountability, governance and getting things done properly. You’ll work closely with senior finance leaders and internal stakeholders across the organisation. Key responsibilities Managing cash flow forecasting, daily funding and bank administration; Monitoring daily cash positions and supporting short-term liquidity planning; Supporting treasury payments, FX activity and banking operations; Preparing cash, liquidity and treasury reporting for internal stakeholders; Month-end journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations; Tax compliance including BAS, FBT, payroll tax and PAYG; and Identifying and implementing improvements across treasury and finance processes. Qualifications and experience Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role; Demonstrated exposure to treasury, cash management or banking operations; Strong general ledger and Microsoft Office experience; Background in a multi-site or operational environment preferred; High attention to detail with a structured, analytical approach; and CA or CPA qualified, or currently working towards.
