A leading Australian services organisation is seeking an experienced Data Miner to join their team on an initial 3 Month contract. This role will support a critical data-driven initiative focused on extracting, analysing and translating complex datasets into actionable business insights. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established enterprise environment on a high-impact project with senior stakeholder visibility. Your role will see you responsible for; Mining large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns and anomalies Developing predictive models and advanced analytics solutions Cleaning, transforming and validating data from multiple sources Presenting insights and recommendations to business stakeholders Collaborating with technology and business teams to improve data quality and reporting capability Supporting strategic decision-making through data-led insights To succeed in this role; You are a commercially minded data professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and can deliver meaningful insights quickly. Proven experience in data mining, advanced analytics or data science roles Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modelling Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) Strong understanding of statistical techniques and predictive modelling Ability to translate technical findings into clear business recommendations Experience working in enterprise or complex corporate environments An attractive daily rate is on offer for the successful candidate.
