Through holiday camps, school programs, and ministry initiatives, we aim to share the gospel, disciple young people, and train them for a lifetime of service. We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team and play a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations across our organisation. This position supports our ministries and campsites by providing accurate financial reporting and analysis, enabling CRU to steward resources effectively for gospel work. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly and annual financial statements within required timeframes Manage payroll processing, reconciliations, BAS/GST returns, and cash flow reporting Monitor budgets and provide financial insights to divisional heads Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance Optimise accounting systems and contribute to process improvements Essential Criteria Relevant accounting degree and professional experience Strong financial and analytical skills with attention to detail Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and legislative requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (Xero experience desirable) A growing Christian faith and full agreement with CRU’s Basis of Belief Remuneration: $77,000 plus statutory super Join a team passionate about ministry and excellence in financial stewardship.
