Transport Despatch Officer: Play a key role supporting hospitals across the state. Deliver and despatch materials to Hospital Health Services and key stakeholders. Receive, despatch and handle equipment (sometimes heavy and bulky) including packing, unpacking. Regular hours Monday - Friday, no shift work. Role fit The essential requirements for this role are: Ability to effectively use computer systems and basic keyboarding skills particularly for data entry. Ability to utilise appropriate materials for packaging to ensure as far as is practical the safety of items during transit whilst employing safe manual handling techniques. Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of customers and staff on matters relating to the administration and transport of equipment and supplies.
