As a Project Officer – Engagement and Capacity Building, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and development of local peer support groups, expanding the member network, and implementing projects that promote inclusion and capacity building. You’ll engage with people with disability, community organisations, and government stakeholders to create opportunities for leadership and influence. Key Responsibilities Engage with people with disability to build capacity and leadership Support activities that grow and enrich peer support groups Promote membership and deliver projects focused on inclusion Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes Assist with planning, coordination, and development of resources and materials What We’re Looking For Strong engagement skills with experience in disability, health, or human services Understanding of disability policy and practice, including NDIS and All Abilities Queensland State Disability Plan Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications Qualifications in disability, human services, or social sciences are desirable but not essential.
