Electric Collective is looking for an Influencer & Publicity Specialist to join our Sydney-based team in a newly created role for the business. About the Role The Influencer & Publicity Specialist is a junior - mid tier role (approximately 2-4 years experience) supporting the delivery of integrated influencer, talent, publicity and media activity across allocated client accounts. Working under the guidance of senior team members and Agency Directors , you will be hands-on in the day-to-day execution of campaigns, coordinating talent and influencer activity, supporting media relations, contributing to creative ideas, and helping bring cultural moments to life. This role offers autonomy, variety and mentorship, with senior leaders building strategy and providing direction while you implement, contribute ideas and grow in confidence and capability. What You’ll Be Doing You'll have the rare opportunity to work hands-on across global and local clients , building relationships with talent, creators and media while gaining exposure across fashion, culture, hospitality, music and purpose-led brands. Influencer, Talent & Creator Engagement Support day-to-day influencer and talent activity across allocated client accounts Assist with outreach and communication with influencers, creators, agents and managers Support seeding and gifting programs Assist with influencer and talent briefs (organic and paid), including scopes, deliverables and timelines Support paid influencer campaigns , including contracts, approvals, timelines and usage tracking Coordinate content approvals, reminders and deadline tracking Prepare first drafts of influencer campaign wrap reports , including reach, engagement and content links Research and identify new and emerging influencers aligned to client brands Support influencer and talent attendance at events , including invites, RSVPs, guest lists and on-the-day coordination Publicity, PR & Media Communications Support publicity and media activity across dedicated client accounts Assist with daily communications to media / journalists Develop working knowledge of the Australian media landscape across print, broadcast, digital and social Pitch to target media for news, features and event listings under senior guidance Assist with building and maintaining accurate media matrixes Coordinate media requests including interviews, shoots and photo opportunities Attend shoots, interviews, launches and filming where required Build knowledge of client brands, competitors and relevant industries including fashion, music, art, travel and hospitality Fulfil editorial briefs accurately and on time Draft media materials including press releases, pitch emails, newsletters and media alerts Campaigns, Events & Creative Support Contribute ideas for events, creative mailers, pitches and publicity moments Support media, influencer and talent activity across launches and activations Assist with front-of-house coordination where required Prepare post-event, campaign and project wrap reports Account, Admin & Agency Support Create draft documents for client meetings, including agendas, WIPs and calendars Assist with creative strategy documents where appropriate Maintain a personal WIP and manage your own calendar The Ideal Candidate 2 - 4 years experience in influencer, PR, communications, media or a related creative field Strong written and verbal communication skills A genuine interest in culture - fashion, music, nightlife, hospitality, travel, art and design Confidence working with influencers, talent, media and clients Excellent organisation, attention to detail and time management A proactive, positive and solutions-focused mindset Curiosity, initiative and a desire to build a long-term career in communications Confident sharing ideas, observations and cultural insight, and bringing energy and perspective into team discussions Comfortable working at pace, able to stay calm, focused and solutions-oriented during busy periods and live campaign moments Strong digital and computer literacy, with confidence using tools such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, Canva and Adobe software Comfortable learning and using new platforms and systems, with the ability to work efficiently across multiple digital tools and workflows Who Are We Electric Collective is a cross-cultural communications agency interweaving fashion, lifestyle, music, hospitality, art, design and culture to create meaningful brand impact.
