About the Role Reporting to the General Manager, you will join a collaborative team dedicated to supporting employers across the real estate industry. As a Workplace Relations Advisor , you will provide specialist advice on Industrial Relations (IR), Human Resources (HR), and Workplace Relations (WR), helping members navigate complex legislation and awards with confidence. This is a strategic, problem solving role where you will interpret the law and deliver practical solutions within the framework of industrial relations to ensure the best outcomes for members. The evolving nature of issues affecting the real estate industry in Australia means you will be exposed to a wide range of workplace matters, offering variety and challenge in your day-to-day work. What You’ll Do Provide high quality verbal and written advice on IR, HR, and WR matters. Serve as a primary contact for member enquiries, providing resolutions where possible or efficiently directing calls to the appropriate team members. Interpret modern awards and employment legislation to ensure compliance and clarity for members. Support the General Manager and WR team with a variety of tasks and projects, including legal research, preparing member‑focused articles, and delivering onboarding sessions for REEF’s employment platform. What You’ll Bring A degree in industrial relations, commerce/business or law (with a focus on employment law). Exceptional communication style, complemented by confidence, empathy, and the ability to build trust with members. Demonstrated understanding of industrial relations processes, combined with creative problem solving skills to deliver practical solutions to complex challenges within legislative frameworks. A proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to shared success.
