The Role Reporting directly to the Business Manager, the Office Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administration and office operations of the site. This role is the key administrative lead on site, supporting plant operations, employees and management across payroll, compliance, financial administration, safety systems and documentation. In the absence of the Business Manager, this position acts as the main point of contact for administrative matters. This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to someone comfortable working in a production or industrial environment. Please note this is a regional site with no public transport access, therefore a reliable vehicle is required. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily office operations and site administration Manage payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records, including leave, training and medicals Provide strong financial administration support including accounts payable, vendor setup, stock movements and reconciliations Support month-end reporting, stock adjustments, fixed assets and financial reconciliations Maintain site compliance documentation, policies, procedures and registers Manage and support ISO quality, safety and environmental systems at site level Coordinate audits, safety reporting, quality management systems and corrective actions Participate in safety committees and environmental initiatives Manage workers compensation and rehabilitation coordination Support recruitment administration, inductions, training records and compliance requirements Schedule and minute management, WHS, quality and compliance meetings Ensure all site documentation remains current, compliant and audit-ready You Will Have: Proven experience in an Office Manager or senior site administration role Strong ISO exposure with the ability to manage quality, safety and compliance systems in a production environment Sound financial acumen with experience across payroll, accounts, reconciliations and reporting Experience supporting audits, compliance and regulatory requirements High attention to detail with a strong governance and compliance mindset Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills Experience with Business Central, SharePoint or payroll systems highly regarded A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle Culture This is a practical, down-to-earth site environment where accountability, reliability and teamwork are highly valued.
