As part of this pool, you may be offered shifts across a range of Level 3 administrative positions in both community and inpatient settings. These roles provide frontline support, including face-to-face assistance to consumers and visitors, as well as managing enquiry phone calls with professionalism and care. The Administration Casual Pool plays a vital role in supporting service operations. Depending on the placement, duties may include greeting and directing consumers and visitors, managing incoming calls, supporting appointment bookings, maintaining records, ordering supplies, minute-taking, and providing administrative support in clinical areas such as ward clerk or clinical support officer roles. Your flexibility and strong communication skills will ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for all who engage with our services. Shifts are offered to cover planned and unplanned leave and therefore vary in frequency and location across the campus and community sites. Where you'll be working Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital What You'll Be Doing To assist and participate in the delivery of an efficient, effective and comprehensive community-based service in the Northern Sydney Local Health District. This is achieved by managing a busy switchboard, answering general inquiries, referring intake matters appropriately, greeting consumers and other visitors, managing appointments and medical records, fulfilling general office duties, and undertaking other appropriately delegated tasks.
