Come join Corporate Services Division as a Senior Data and Infrastructure Engineer where you will provide high-level technical and specialist expertise to support the design, development, automation, and maintenance of data infrastructure, reporting solutions, and finance applications. It ensures the effective use of technology, interfaces, and extraction tools to deliver accurate, timely, and audit-ready information to stakeholders, while maintaining system capacity and capability to meet evolving organisational needs. The position also contributes towards the technical development and maintenance of the Queensland Health (QH) Decision Support System (DSS) data warehouse. Your key responsibilities: Coordinate the planning, design, development, and testing of data models to orchestrate the delivery of data from S/4HANA for ingestion into Finance Solutions' data repositories. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders for feedback, continuous optimisation, and conduct root cause analysis to propose solutions and proactive measures. Maintain compliance with required configuration and patching standards and approved incident management requirements for the Finance Solutions infrastructure and applications, including the provision of valid, structured test plans and documentation. Assist and participate in the development of monitoring tools of the Finance Solutions infrastructure, including setting of appropriate thresholds by which infrastructure is effectively managed. The essential requirements for this role are: High level of communication, interpersonal, problem solving, analytical thinking, and project management skills and the ability to prepare quality technical and written documentation. Demonstrated ability to operate as a collegial and collaborative member of a high-level technical and multi-disciplinary team in a customer focused ICT environment. Participation in an on-call team.
