What you'll do Provide technical software development skills in the analysis of ICT system issues and the design, development, testing and deployment of appropriate solutions. Provide a lead role in the promotion of software developer best practice covering development, architecture, security and testing. Liaise, consult and negotiate with stakeholders, customers and internal IT teams as part of the process of developing and delivering software solutions, identifying and communicating benefits, risks and issues for solution and/or options About you We are searching for someone who has: Demonstrated experience in the creation and development of web applications for large organisations, with a minimum of 3 years' experience using the latest versions of the following technologies: Languages: C# MS SQL HTML 5 CSS CSS Precompilers (SASS, JSS) PowerShell Frameworks / Libraries: .NET Core NET CORE Single Page Applications eg Blazor Distributed Application Frameworks for .NET using Messaging (Rabbit MQ / Azure Service Bus). Such as ORM's - Entity Framework Testing Frameworks .NET (MSTEST / NUNIT / XUNIT) SignalR - WebSockets Architectural Pattern Knowledge: REST API design and patterns Messaging Patterns (Pub-Sub, FanOut) Service Orientated Architectures Integration architectures Azure AD Authentication Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment SOLID Principles IOC - Concepts and Frameworks Reporting and data modelling (designing BI & Reporting solutions & technologies) Tooling Visual Studio Azure DevOPS Microsoft SQL Server ALM Tools Azure DevOps / Git Highly Desirable to have experience in the following Areas Novell Directory Services, Azure Active Directory and Enterprise Directory Interfacing (technologies) i.e. LDAP Agile development environment using SCRUM and Kanban Application Insights Service Now Code / peer reviews CI/CD in Azure DevOPS Knowledge and experience with Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) processes is desirable.
