What you'll do Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with QPS values as outlined above. Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe, services and workplaces. Ensure the implementation of quality testing methods to align with best practice ICT testing frameworks which encompasses strategies, policies, processes, templates, tools, and standards. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of testing and technical specialism and provide sound advice and recommendations on any aspect of test planning and execution. Review technical and business design requirement and identifies alternative solutions. Defines risk based and requirements-based testing scope to ensure solution is fit for purpose. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including mentoring and leading team members providing peer reviews, training and support. Provide comprehensive monitoring and reporting on projects to ensure effective implementation of project deliverables. About you Demonstrated experience in the development of test plans and test cases and ensuring compliance to testing and technical policies, standards, and procedures within a large, complex IM/ICT program/project(s) environment (SFIA Skill: TEST: Level 4) Demonstrated experience in testing, including experience with testing methodologies and tools for large, complex IM/ICT program/project(s) (SFIA Skill: TEST: Level 4) Experience in specifying and developing test scenarios to ensure user acceptance and records and analyses test results, and reports any unexpected or unsatisfactory outcomes (SFIA Skill: TEST: Level 4) Ability to provide expert advice in relevant testing techniques and methods and tools for large scale complex organisations (SFIA Skill: METL: 4) Demonstrated analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with experience in the assessment and evaluation of technical requirements within a complex IM/ICT environment. Well-developed interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others, and work collaboratively with people to make decisions (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing, Collaborative working).
